Erik Morales all set for International Boxing Hall of Fame induction

This weekend The fruits of Erik’s extraordinary labors and amazing feats will be honored, as he will be inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame of Canastota, New York.

Erik, the first Mexican four times world champion in history, has been an exemplary champion inside and outside of the ring, becoming one of the great boxers of all time.

Among his most remembered combats is his triumph over Manny Pacquiao in 2005, as well as his famous fierce and sure-fire trilogy with Marco Antonio Barrera.

“Terrible”, winner of world titles in four divisions and retired in 2012 with a record of 52-9, and 36 knockouts, has commented on many occasions about the loyalty and gratitude he has for the WBC.

This Sunday, Erik’s magnificent career, characterized by skill, power, tremendous courage and sheer unquenchable willpower culminating to form time-tested brilliance, will be lauded and applauded with his induction to the International Hall of Fame.
