Hill has 12 years of experience at the highest level of the sport and joins Eddie Hearn’s team from working with world class trainer Adam Booth and his blossoming gym of talents including WBA Bantamweight ruler Ryan Burnett and world-rated GB Olympic Welterweight star Josh Kelly, having worked as Operations Manager for Hayemaker Boxing at the height of David Haye’s career.

Hill’s appointment in the UK is mirrored in the US as Josh Roy, formerly of RocNation and Banner Promotions, became the first major appointment for Matchroom Boxing USA as Head of Operations after Hearn announced the ground-breaking $1billion deal with Perform Group.

Both Hill and Roy will work alongside promoter Hearn and Chief Executive Officer Frank Smith, and Hearn is delighted with the additions to the teams on both sides of the Atlantic.

“As we continue to expand globally it’s important that we grow our internal team with high quality acquisitions,” said Hearn. “I’ve known both Jon and Josh for some time and they have vast experience in the US and UK boxing markets.

“We are continuing the recruitment process and will look to add a further six or seven people in our UK and US offices as we look to promote around 40 events annually from September.”
