The Birmingham-born Irishman clobbered Micsko with a cruel body shot in just the second round and Hungarian never recovered. Macklin now boasts a 32-6 C.V after recording his 21st early career finish and has his sights firmly set on claiming another world title shot by the end of the year.
WBC ranked number three super middleweight Callum Smith wasted no time in dropping and stoppage Oleg Fedotovs following a six-month absence from the ring. ‘Mundo’ blasted out the usually durable Fedotovs in the first round to make it 16 wins, with twelve inside schedule.
